Quite interesting, but more as an overview of the time when slavery was abolished than as a biography of Wilberforce (which is what I was looking for). The writing style was very hard to read, too - particularly when he was "setting the scene" historically by summarising all the major events in Europe in one very long convoluted sentence. It probably didn't help that I'd never heard of most of the events he mentioned. I did learn a few interesting things that I'd not known before, but on the whole I still feel like I need to find a decent biography of Wilberforce.
